  2. ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ 1. About TrashMan ΓòÉΓòÉΓòÉ

  4. TrashMan is an OS/2 Presentation Manager game that puts you in the middle of 
  5. the Green Movement.  Your job as Sanitation Engineer is to clean up the area by 
  6. putting all the trash piles in garbage cans. 
  7.  
  8. The playing area is divided into 'rooms'.  The rooms may contain trash piles or 
  9. garbage cans.  You are the small figure with a push broom.  You move your 
  10. player around with the arrow keys. 
  11.  
  12. The trash piles must be pushed around the screen until they are in a garbage 
  13. can.  When a trash pile is in a garbage can, the can bulges and a red check 
  14. mark appears. The garbage cans are only big enough to hold one trash pile.  You 
  15. only have a push broom, so you can sweep the trash piles in one direction.  To 
  16. change directions, you must move around to the other side of the can.  The 
  17. trash piles are heavy-- you can only push one at a time. If you sweep across a 
  18. full garbage can, its contents are pushed out into the room again.

  20. After you have successfully cleaned up all the trash in a level, you can 
  21. advance to the next level.  Each level increases in difficulty.  Be careful-- 
  22. you can 'sweep yourself into a corner', and arrive at a position that is 
  23. impossible to finish.  Your only choice at this point is to restart the level. 
  24. After completing each level, you are shown the number of 'moves' it took to 
  25. complete the level.  Let me know if you can do better than 238 moves for level 
  26. 1!

  28. The current screen size and level number are saved when you close this game.
